Up until now, there has been no uniform quality grade scale used by recycled golf ball retailers. At GolfBallTest.org, we conducted a thorough review of the various scales in use and created the following Quality Grade Scale that unifies the assorted grade claims made by the majority of North American and European online ball retailers.

PERFORMANCE CERTIFIED™ golf balls are only Grade AAAAA (5A) or Grade AAAA (4A), the two highest grades. We do not certify “value or practice balls” and we do not evaluate and certify refinished golf balls.

The following is the unified Quality Grade Scale system administered by GolfBallTest.org:
